IRC & other ways of chatting in the open community
IRC is a long used chat mechanism used by lots of people in the open source
community; I'll talk about what it is and how to use it; if you've got
a machine with you I can help you get connected.
I'll also be talking aobut some of the other chat protocols that are
coming along, in particular I'll talk a bit about Matrix.org.
