Summary
Richard Ibbotson will talk about the COSMOS Project. This is an international open source GNU/Linux based project which runs on
Raspberry Pi hardware. During a 2015 summer workshop for Cubesat Design, Engineering, and Operations at Capitol Technology University
at Laurel in Maryland a requirement arose for a lightweight command and control system for the Cubesats. This would implement all of the
usual control centre functions such as telemetry ingest, commanding, archiving, telemetry format conversion, trending, and alerts. Richard
will give an introduction to this project and show some screenshots.

Update, unfortunately Richard was busy that day, but we had a good couple of hours. Simon Estill very kindly stepped in at the last moment and gave a git refresher.
We also assisted a member of the group with an Ubuntu install on an old latpop, however the wireless refused to work initally.
