Hardware Freedom Day is an annual world wide celebration of Free Hardware with the aim of promoting Hardware Freedom to everyone. This year the event lands on Saturday, 15th March. You can see the teams around the world that will be participating on the HFD 2014 Events Map. This includes Manchester, UK!

The event will be a chance to discuss, show and see Free Hardware. The following topics are for discussion (but other Hardware Freedom topics are welcome):

If you have a device/design that gives the 4 Freedoms of Free Software as applied to a device/design and would like to tell others about it then please give a talk/demo at this event. If you are going to do a talk/demo then preferably send an email letting us know to: fsuk-manchester-team@nongnu.org

The event will end with a tour of Fab Lab.
