Summary
This talk came as a surprise to most of us.. Richard spoke mainly about Nautilus, and the a short section on the ulse of Zenity which is a sort of xdialog clone for Gnome. I captured a couple of minutes of the talk on a Canon IXUS digital camera, just to give an idea what went on. There was a video file but it is no longer available.
(For those of you using Mac OS-X, you might like to know that there are similar utilities available. I have been playing around with CocoaDialog for the GUI elements and wrapping the script up as a Mac OS-X application with Platypus - JH).
